Locking orders + charging cards!

Hello everyone!

I wanted to share a little update of the progress so far. For Backerkit, most of the surveys have been filled in, thank you! There are still 52 that haven't been filled in yet, if you haven't received yours or need help filling it in please let me know at [email protected].

When will you charge cards/lock surveys?

Once the surveys are locked, you will not be able to add more add-ons to your survey or change your item choices.

I was hoping to have the sock samples ready before charging cards but it took longer than expected to get the designs ready for 3d/selecting colour samples, so they won't be ready til next week! I'm going to lock the orders & charge cards as I've had a few questions about when it'll be happening. If once the sock samples are ready you would like to change your colour selection, just reach out to my email and I'll get it changed for you! A notice should have been sent via email saying that cards will be charged in 48 hours, but if you have any questions or issues please let me know by sending me an email! 

Will addresses be locked?

Addresses will not be locked yet so please don't worry if you're planning on moving addresses! I'll post an update on Kickstarter when the addresses will be locked, but until then you can change your address by either using your original survey link, or if you have lost it follow this link. If you enter your email it'll resend the survey and you should be able to edit it from there!

Further progress/changes:

• Some more updates on the bags! For the custom print lining, we printed some samples on fabric but I felt like it ended up overcrowding the design unfortunately, and ended up preferring the plain lining in the original samples. I'll add some photos of the insides to my next update (once the sock samples are done) but I've decided to keep the single colour lining to help keep the high quality look!
• For the custom zipper, I have opted for a simple moon with my logo, and rounded corners to make it look smooth and modern! We're working on making the mold for it now, I'll add some photos below:

• The custom box design is still being worked on but I'm excited to show you all when it's done!
• I also took my sample bag to the local aquarium, here's some photos from the trip(:

Hello everyone, I hope you're having a good 2022 so far!

I wanted to share an update for the timeline, BackerKit surveys, and the new plush pouches/bag variant samples!

Timeline update

Unfortunately there have been a few delays, so I'm estimating the delivery could end up being closer to June/July. I'll keep monitoring the situation as I built in an initial buffer and I'll keep you updated if anything changes!

Variant samples

The sock samples will be finished within the next week, but for now here are the current new samples for the bags and pouches! I will be taking some more photos to share in the next update, which will also contain the sock samples for anyone still filling out the survey!

Survey lock/card charge

I will be locking surveys and charging cards through BackerKit for postage/add-ons at the beginning of April. This is to ensure everyone has enough time to see the new samples and make their final decisions. I will be posting another update when the sock samples have finished with more information regarding survey locking, but please note that the addresses will not be locked until a later date.

Survey update + new sample progress!

Hello everyone, I wanted to post an update to give a bit more information on what's going on currently!

Survey Update

The surveys are ready to go out! I've been waiting to send them as I received an email from my shipping company announcing that shipping costs will go up in 2022 due to rising fuel costs and labour shortages. I was hoping to get the accurate shipping costs before sending out surveys, but if I don't receive the updated quotes by Friday I'll send out the surveys anyway since I don't want to delay it any further.

You will receive the survey link via email, and I'll post a Kickstarter update once the surveys have been sent so please don't worry about missing them. You'll be able to choose colours/designs/sizes, choose add-ons, input shipping addresses and pay for shipping through Backerkit!

Sample Progress

I received a few progress photos from the manufacturer for the new variants! These are the front panels with printed clouds before the embroidery and construction but they should be finished soon. As they're the first round of samples for these colourways there may be some adjustments to the final designs but I'll continue to post updates here if anything is changed. I should also have pouch/sock samples soon - so excited!

Funding complete! + survey/next steps

Hello! Thank you all for the support with this campaign, I'm so happy we managed to unlock all the goals/designs! 

NEXT STEPS

The survey is currently in development but it should be sent out in the next week and a half! The survey will be on Backerkit, where a pre-order shop will also be set up for anyone who missed the Kickstarter.

I'll post another update once the survey has been sent out. You'll receive the link by email where you can choose your pin/sock/pouch/bag designs. You can also add your shipping address, and purchase extra items you didn’t include in your pledge. The shipping address will remain editable until I lock the survey.

Kickstarter takes 2 weeks to process the campaign funds. If you noticed your card was declined, you will have until this Friday to fix your payment before your pledge is dropped. You will receive the survey even if the pledge is dropped, so you will be able to pay for the pledge through Backerkit.

NEW SAMPLES

I've received a few questions about the new bag colour samples, I reached out to the manufacturer and they've confirmed they'll be ready by Dec 10th but will try to get them finished sooner. This will leave time for you to change your survey questions if you end up liking a different colour more after seeing the final samples. I'll update soon with the sock/pouch sample times!
