Hello!! Here's an update on the progress of everything!

UK and non-US packages

Almost all of these are shipped, we have under 100 orders left to go! For my European backers please keep an eye out on the shipping status as customs may reach out to you for information/duties. If you don't respond the package will be sent back to me, so please make sure you respond in time!(:

USA packages

These are due to be complete by the end of the week! 

After the end of this week I'll be following up on any orders still on the system (incorrect/unreadable addresses, address holds, etc) so if you haven't received a shipment email keep an eye out for an email from me!

Longer straps

These have finished production and they'll be shipping to me this week. They should arrive in a week or two and then the orders will be shipped.

Thank you so much everyone for your patience, I am so grateful. I'm glad we're nearly at the end, it definitely took longer than anticipated! Any leftover bags will go up on my store in the next reopening, I'll also be bringing a few MCM London next month!

Fulfilment update + bag unbox photo!

Hello everyone! I apologise for the late update, I've been a bit sick and had to take some time to rest!

I've been catching up this week and following up with the fulfilment companies - we're currently at 555 packages sent! 

We're waiting on a second shipment of pouches which should hopefully speed things up but I will keep you updated! I was hoping to have it complete by the end of February, but as packing is taking longer than I'd hoped it may be an extra couple of weeks. Please don't worry though as everyone will still receive their manta rays safely!

Thank you to those who have received their bags already and shared them online, it's been so nice to see the cute photos!(:

I also wanted to share a photo of what the bag will look like when you receive it, the wings, tail and straps will be inside the bag! So please be careful when unboxing to make sure you don't accidentally throw anything away (the tail especially as it looks like packaging)!

Fulfillment has started!

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a good 2023 so far!

I have some good news, after what felt like endless amount of meetings I can finally say that fulfillment has begun! I did test shipments from both 3PLs and everything arrived smoothly. Please note I don't have control over how fast the packages are shipped, but usually it takes around a month or two for this quantity - we're aiming to be done by the end of February though! So please don't be concerned if it's been a week or two and you haven't received a shipping notification, yours will be in the queue!(:

If anyone still needs to change their address, please email me at [email protected] asap or we may not be able to catch it in time!

For anyone who asked for longer bag straps, I have added those to Backerkit manually. The straps are nearly finished but it is currently the CNY festival and the manufacturers are on holiday. I believe they'll be back mid-late Feb, and then the straps can be shipped to me!

Order cancellation emails!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to post a tiny update as some of you may have received an order cancellation email - please ignore this! I am importing all the orders over to my shipping softwares however there was an import mistake in the first batch so I deleted them off the system which automatically sent out cancellation emails. The orders will be reimported so there is no cancellation, please don't worry! I'm still trialling the import system so there may be more accidental cancellation emails sent but you can also ignore those (:

Bags have arrived - timeline update!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a great day so far!

Good news, the UK and US shipments have both now arrived!

UK shipment - (shipping everywhere non-US)

For these orders I will be using a new shipping company as I've had quite a few issues with my last one! I'm in the middle of the onboarding process and have a call next week to work out technical details, and then we will transfer all my stock from my current warehouse to the new one.

At the moment the Manta Ray bags is planned to be the first shipment moved over, however it will then need to be unpacked, quality checked and barcoded. I don't have an estimate for how long this will take with the new company especially as they will be closed over the holidays, but we are planning on beginning fulfilment in January so fingers crossed it will begin then!

US shipment - (shipping US only)

These orders will be shipped using my existing US shipping company, but the shipment will still need to be unpacked, quality checked and barcoded. These should hopefully begin fulfilment later this month once these tasks have been completed, and finish in January after the holiday break. You will receive a shipping notification with the tracking number once your order has been sent!

Bag strap update

I have been through all the emails I received for those who wanted the longer bag straps! I haven't had a chance to respond yet but I should hopefully be able to send a bulk confirmation email to everyone who requested them. These have been ordered however the manufacturer's factory is currently in a lockdown. Once they've reopened we will be able to produce the straps, but please remember your order won't be able to be fulfilled until the straps have been received!

Leftover bag sale

I'll be opening a second round of preorders for the leftover bags alongside other preorder products. This will be over the holidays whilst my shop is closed, and it will be only preorder items available. Please note these won't be shipped until after the first round of Kickstarter and Backerkit preorders have finished fulfilment (other than the extra strap orders as I don't have a set ETA on these yet). The second round won't have the exclusive Kickstarter price but will be available for anyone who missed the initial preorders!
